THIS IS THE CATALAN-SPANISH TEAM.
We are a group of 16 students from IES JAUME CALLIS in Vic. Vic is a small city of 53,000 inhabitants, in the hinterland, 65 km from Barcelona.

We are 16 or 17 years old and we are studying 1st Batxillerat (post-compulsory education) Jaume Callís. We study common-core subjects such as Spanish, Catalan, English, Philosophy and PI and then some electives such as Biology, Physics and Chemistry, Maths, Technology. We are willing to do a scientific or technological dregree at university or college.
We study at IES (Institut d'Educació Secundària= Secondary Education High School). Our school is a big and old one. It dates back from 1968 and is now under a rebuilding scheme. Some of our parents attended this school, even our English teacher was once a student here!). The school caters from students aged 12 to 18 years old, with many classrooms, labs, computer rooms, a theatre, a sports hall and a canteen.
Some of us are new in the school, we studied in other schools in Vic or the area.

We are a group of 7 students from Lithuania, Marijampoles Petro Armino Secondary School:Raimonda, Vaida, Paulina, Rima, Tautvydas, Andrius, Lilija .Marijampolė, is the seventh largest city in Lithuania, and has been its regional center since 1994. The city covers an area equal to 205.07 square kilometres. The Šešupė River divides the city into two parts which are connected by six bridges.

We are a group of students who attend ITAS G. D'Annunzio in Gorizia. Our school is a technical one where we can choose among four different courses: environment and health, technology, languages and tourism. Here is the link to our school website http://www.itas-dannunzio.it/

Gorizia is a small town of about 40,000 inhabitants in the North-East of Italy
Here you can see its coat of arms with the castle, the landmark of the town, on it 
Gorizia is more than 1,000 years old and in it you can see some buildings dating back to the Middle Ages
Due to its geographical position, Gorizia has always been a crossroads of cultures and languages: as a matter of fact, for sixty years it was divided into two by the border with Slovenia.
Gorizia has got four versions of its name, Italian, Slovenian, German and Friulano.
This is the Swedish team
We are a big group of 27 pupils from Nyvångskolan in Sweden. It is a nine-year compulsory school with about 600 students from 6-16 years old. We are all 15-16 years old and doing our last year in the senior level. All pupils have to study 16-17 subjects e.g Swedish, English, Maths, Natural Science, Social science, Art, Music, Textile/Wood work……
Our school was built in 1967 but it looks almost like new, because it has recently been renovated.
It´s located in a village called Dalby ("by" means village in Swedish) 10 kilometres east of the university town of Lund, in the very south of Sweden.
Lund is a charming old town with a big cathedral, which is about 1000 years old, a lot of small houses in narrow alleys some of them dating back to the Middle Ages.
The Bulgarian students
Our school, Romain Rolland FLS, Stara Zagora, has nearly 1200 students. It is a co-ed foreign language school -
the students study one language intensively for 5 years,(English, German or French), and during their second year they take up another foreign language for four years.
The team of students, who are 16+, 10 grade, study 12 subjects. Their first foreign language is English; in addition they also study Bulgarian Language and Literature, Maths, FL1, FL2, Chemistry, Physics, IT, Computer Studies, Geography, History, Ethics and Law, and Sports. The curriculum is very demanding.

THIS IS THE CZECH TEAM
The Higher Technical College, Secondary Pedagogic School and Business Academy in Most, Czech Republic. The school is actually three schools in one and they share one building.
The Higher Technical College is tertiary level and for daily study. There are two branches for the students to choose.
The Secondary Pedagogic School is, as the name implies, secondary level and includes both daily and part-time/extramural study (the latter for adults). There are two branches for daily study and three for extramural.
The Business Academy is secondary level and for daily study.
