Since the project is too rich in contents, we propose to choose, let's say 3 or 4 of its parts. Here you are invited to express your opinion both about this and also to suggest which parts you think should be developed. Personally, I think that "our music scene" and "songs" should not be deleted because the former is a good starter and the latter a nice way to close the project. As for the others, they are not so different after all, so feel free to say which one you prefer to deal with. Looking forward to reading from you.

Hi!
It was a pity I couldnt join you on Thurs - no internet connection these last two days, happens so rarely but - am sorry.

Have read the suggestions - I agree, it would be too ambitious to work on all the parts. My preferences(in addition to the ones Alessandra suggested) - songs as a window to culture. Here I would also think of students designing a lesson plan to teach a song which incorporates cultural learning - this would tie up nicely to learning English through songs.

This is from me for now.

Hi,

I am also for "our music scene" and the "songs". For students it will be the most interesting part to do as they would be able to choose the songs and singers they like, compare and find out new songs. In the first part translation of lyrics can be added for other peers to understand, voting for a song, even discussion.

I also think, as I told you before, that " our music" and "songs" are the most interesting topics. My third preference is "a window to a culture", where I think the pupils hopefully will learn a lot of English and culture. The idea of translating songs at the same as you learn about the way of living and habits in other countries, is great.

My preferences.
work on SECTION 1: OUR MUSIC SCENE, section 3: A WINDOW TO A CULTURE (here some points from section 2 and 5 could be incorporated), and then section 6 as a kind of finishing off.
Anyway, if somebody wants to work on more issues, I think he/she should be free to do it. WHat's important, it's that we state some "compulsory" activities in each section which will make cooperation easier.

Hi! As for me, I find all parts of this project interesting but I would involve my students to do every part step-by-step and little-by-little…For sure, it will be uneasily! To my mind, the part "Songs and other forms of art (literature…)" will be the most difficult for my students. Actually, I`m new for the projects and would like to try something new with my students and all of you. So, I need your help and advice also.
